Cooley LLP acquired Dow Lohnes PLLC's Washington, D.C., office.

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP hired Ryan Bergsieker as of counsel in its Denver office.

DLA Piper appointed Richard Hans co-managing partner of the New York office, joining Heidi Levine in the role.

Venable LLP opened a second West Coast office in San Francisco. Tom Wallerstein joins the newly opened Bay Area office as partner. The firm also hired corporate attorney Ralph W. Hardy Jr. and tax attorney Stephanie M. Loughlin as partners in its Washington, D.C., office.

Michael ("Moshe") Kasser joined Hogan Lovells as a regulatory specialist in our food, drug, medical device and agriculture group. Moshe will be resident in Rehovot, Israel with an intermittent presence in our Washington, D.C., office.

Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP has elected Bradford Lenox, Steven Pritchett and Michael Rhim as partners. The firm also hired Brad Staley in its Raleigh-Durham, N.C., office as an associate in the firm's real estate practice. He is also creating a new practice area serving companies that pursue and hold government contracts.

K&L Gates LLP appointed five new partners across three of the firm's Australian offices. In Perth, Amber Stanton joins the firm's energy, infrastructure and resources practice, while Andrew Kennedy will join the labor, employment and workplace safety practice. Also joining the practice is Christa Lenard in the firm's in Sydney office, where Betsy-Ann Howe also has been added as a tax partner. Finance partner Alan Maclean joins the firm's Melbourne office.

McCarter & English, LLP hired Laura Anne Corsell and Don E. Felice in its Philadelphia office. Corsell joins as partner and Felice as special counsel.

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP named Katie Marquart as the firm's new pro bono director. The firm also hired R. Jay Tabor as a partner in the Dallas office, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.

Brian S. Lichter joined Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York as a partner in its real estate practice.

Dickinson Wright LLP hired John D. Leslie as a partner in the firm's Toronto office.

Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. hired Jeffrey S. Gleason as a principal in the firm's business litigation group in Minneapolis.

Quarles & Brady LLP hired Steven M. Goldman as a partner in the corporate services practice group in Washington, D.C.

Morrison & Foerster hired John A. Good and Justin R. Salon as partners in the firm's corporate finance practice in Washington, D.C.

The firm also hired project finance and renewable energy partner Jeffrey Chester in Los Angeles.
