DLA Piper hired Clare Titcomb in Ukraine, Fabrizio Capponi in Italy, and Richard Reilly in New York City.

Jones Day hired competition law attorney Nick Taylor to its Sydney, Australia office. The firm also hired a trio of private equity and tax partners—two will work in San Diego and one will work in Washington, D.C.

SNR Denton hired Terry Goddard, former Attorney General of Arizona, to its public policy and regulation practice in Phoenix. The firm also announced the election of 16 new partners, retroactively effective Jan. 1.

Scott Smith moved from Baker Donelson's Washington, D.C. office to Nashville.

Venable hired Peter O'Malley, brother of Maryland governor Martin O'Malley and chief of staff for Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake.

Perkins Coie hired Michael Owen to work in its business practice in Chicago.

Foley & Lardner hired Andrew Baluch, former director of international intellectual property enforcement for the White House. The firm also hired Selig Sacks to its Chinese transactions and securities practice.

Sidley Austin hired Wendy Lazerson in Palo Alto, Calif., and Michael Duff in Los Angeles. George Petrow will move from the firm's New York office to London, where he will serve as managing partner of that branch. Mike Schmidtberger will take over as managing partner of the firm's New York City office.

BraunHagey hired litigator William Campbell to work in its San Francisco office.

Goodwin Procter hired litigator Kristen Garcia Dumont to work in its Silicon Valley office.

Quarles & Brady hired Illinois State Sen. Kwame Raoul to work in its Chicago office.

Thompson Hine received a Diversity & Inclusion Innovation Award from the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

Schiff Hardin hired Philippe Manteau and Randi Rosenblatt in New York City.
