Tweet Share on Facebook September 27, 2011 CommentAccording to a midyear survey by Citi, law firms saw greater revenue over the first half of 2011, but expenses rose slightly faster. Firms saw a 3.7 percent revenue increase and a 4.7 percent increase in expenses.
WilmerHale has hired two big names: the firm hired Boyd Johnson III, deputy U.S. attorney for the southern district of New York and Thomas Strickland, former chief of staff and assistant secretary for fish and wildlife and parks with the U.S. Department of the Interior.

The publication asked associates to rate their firms' technology use in four areas: overall quality of technology, use of technology to serve client needs, technology training, and technology support. Rounding out the top five were Cozen O'Connor, Nutter McClennen & Fish, Fenwick & West, and Paul Hastings.
